Message I have a swapped tt, so the motor came with the jspec downpipes. These worked with my NA cat pipes, which have magnaflow cats welded in place. So I have read alot of pros and cons of test pipes, and im trying to decide since the cost is so small that its not an issue to pick up a set of megan dp and test pipes. Will there be much of a difference from jspec dp's with high flow cats? How likely is the oil seal failure with test pipe installations? I know the OEM cat pipes are smaller diameter, and the high flow cats cause some backpressure and possibly some turbulence also. I just want to know if anyone else could tell a difference if they have been in a similar situation. Possibly some feedback from users who have downpipes that went with/without cats at different times would be good.

thanks,
Tom
